well, thats only as far as removing the conds goes.
now to the killing...with a shock axe warr you might as well resign at the very start if the smiter knows what they're doing. Sad as it is, but its exactly balth pendulum that is so ridiculously strong and prevents kills that involve knockdown locking a monk. And because of that they simply outlast a balanced team in the long term.

It already ignores armor since its bonus damage, so it doesn't matter. The point was to make it Holy damage (since its armor ignoring HEH), and therefore negating conjures.

There's no need to nerf anything related to SoH (25e, 3s AT, 60000s recharge....grenths aura that sucker....) if something smart could be done to it, and holy damage is FAIRLY smart. It fits in with the rest of the line (smite), it already ignores armor (like holy damage), so....

It would be much easier to make it work just like OoP and make it only trigger on physical damage. That stops the stacking too and monks can still use their normal shield.

On-topic: Wounding Strike is pretty broken, a 4-6r would probably fix it for the most part.
Conjure + SoH stacking is being worked on according to Izzy so expect that to be changed in the 'near' future.

Let's also not forget the smite damage through frenzy...castigation signet will hit for over 100 (and give the user 9 energy), smite condition over 100 and smite hex a whopping 160, on top of the RoD spam and pendulum train.

nah thats overkill imo. just reduce duration and recharge so it's still usable and very powerful but more easy to interrupt it due to it's frequency

I really don't have a problem with conjure and SOH. The real problem is that the Mesmer bar is just way to efficient for what it does and can DO!
Ability to;
a)KD your offense with little down time in between(ops melee kills and when they can't whack at things, stuff doesn't die as frequent)
b)packs 2 of the best skills ingame mirror and sig hum
c)armor comparable to a paragon
d)ability to buff 3 frontliners(hello now you really have about the dmg of 5)
e)synergy with mantra and all the damn signets
Now stuff that has really pissed me off currently and in the past.
B surge eles, packing hex breaker and mantra of conc, sorry but making HB a skill so that you can also now take a stance is retarded in it's self. No reliable way to shutdown this mindless midliner with diversion.
Recently GW skill balances have introduced more and more skilless, brainless, un shutdown-able midliner templates. Signet Mesmers, any type of Ele with hex breaker and glyph lesser and Plague Signet necro. Shutdown in these metas have become a joke and solely interrupt based. Having to interrupt key spells at key moments on twitch, to truly maximize the shutdown effect. Also note over time many of the BIG skills have lost casting time. Nerfing P Leak was o so good, interrupting a spell and losing some energy when over 75% of the casters are packing lesser is laughable E-denial.
I haven't GvG'ed in the last 2 weeks but from I've seen on obs over the last few days is basically non existent shutdown, just templates allowed to do whatever they want, when they want, and a bunch of over powered buffed physicals.

Anyone who has ever GVGed in the top 100 for any length of time will know who akaraxle is. It isnt that hard to know which forum posters actually have high level experience once you have been there.
Even a fringe player/poster like me who isnt known really outside my guilds knows who the people who dont need to be called out are. Akaraxle is one of those.

I would love to see the game in the state it was pre factions world championship minus the sinsplit that was ran at that time, that or the 2-3 months pre factions release were the best times in the game.
I wish arenenet had the balls to say yes we had a great PVP game but we were stupid and screwed everything up for carebears.
